China

Although these countries were closely linked in many respects since Japan last sought the Chinese colonial period during World War II, the situation worsened. But in 1972 President Nixon continued to interact with China. Today Japan helps China to develop its economy and is the best source of official assistance for the development of the Republic of China. Japan is also a major export market in China.

Russian Federation

Since the Second World War, Russia has been in conflict with Japan. Russia expanded its power on many islands close to Japan, and Japan announced that these islands belong to them. But the peace agreement signed in 2000, which began commercialization between Japan and Russia and Japan, is currently participating in many Russian development projects.

The European Economic Community (EEC)

The European Economic Community consists of economically developed European countries. Japan is an economic link with these countries. As these European countries became the largest market in Japan, Japan did its utmost to improve its relations.
