Granted based on proven specialized skills and practical experience, such as chefs specializing in native cuisines (10+ years certified experience), traditional craftsmen, and specialized technical operators.
3. Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) Pathway
The most practical and fast-track pathway for Sri Lankan candidates. Requires passing JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic plus the sector-specific Prometric Skills Test in Caregiving, Agriculture, Food Service, Hospitality, or Construction. Candidates receive full equal pay, bonuses, and health coverage.
